Air Navigation Pro comes with a unique amount of information regarding waypoints and airspaces.

We offer two database update models:

  • Free: The database will be updated in November of each year.
  • Subscription: The database will be updated every 4 weeks based on the AIRAC cycle.

When acquiring the subscription database model you will also gain access to information about airports such as fuel availability, contact information and specific runway details. (Note: This information is not available for all the airports of the world yet).

By tapping on an airspace or a waypoint, a pop-up window will show you relevant information.

Airspaces

When tapping on an airspace, a pop-up window will show you the name of it, vertical limits, class and contact information if available. If the spot you pressed has multiple airspaces, all of them will be shown. If there are more than 5, you can scroll through them by tapping on the window and dragging up and down.

To close the pop-up window just tap outside of it.

You can filter the amount and classes of airspaces shown by going to Toolbar - Map Options - Airspaces.

Waypoints

Depending on which waypoint type you tap, you will see different information on the pop-up window. In all cases you will see the ID, name, coordinates, bearing and distance to it and sunrise and sunset at this place*.

* The sunrise and sunset time is calculated based on the coordinates of the waypoint. It's not the official sunrise and sunset as it appears on the AIP.

On the window, you will have a quick access to the edit-mode (padlock icon), a share button that will let you export the waypoint and the Ⓘ that will let you perform different actions like affect to an instrument (HSI, VOR, RMI) or center the waypoint on the map. These actions differs if you are on the edit-mode.

If you subscribed to our monthly database update and you are looking at an airport you will find a fourth icon: The Air Navigation AD Info page. This icon will generate a .pdf file with lots of updated information about the airport such as:

  • Location
  • Traffic use and type
  • Frequencies
  • Runway data such as orientation, TODA, ASDA, LDA, strength and light.
  • ILS data if available
  • Local time, opening times, permissions, fuel and oil availability, facilities available at the airport and contact information.

You can easily export this data by tapping on the icon at the top right corner.
