Air Navigation Android


We released Air Navigation Pro for Android in 2012. This is the little brother of the iOS version and we are working to make it grow and reach the same level as Air Navigation iOS. Regular updates are released with improvements, more tools and better performance. The Air Navigation Team continues to invest a lot of effort in adding new features to this Android version as our aim is to offer the same services for all pilots, whatever the type of device they are using.

Some of the features that we offer for this version are the following:

  • Moving map with multi leg flight planning or direct to waypoint capability;
  • Access to commercial aviation charts (as in-app purchases) for Europe, USA, Australia, New-Zealand (check our website for available countries);
  • Support for georeferenced approach charts (not all countries available, check our website for more information);
  • Access to free of charge, open source maps, downloadable from within the application;
  • Internal database with more than 100.000 waypoints, airports and related information;
  • Internal database with airspaces information (not all countries available);
  • Support for elevation data;
  • Preflight briefing (NOTAMS);
  • Online flight tracking service;
  • HSI Instrument


Air Navigation iOS


Air Navigation iOS is distributed in 2 versions:

Air Navigation Standard

Some of the features Air Navigation Standard offers are:

  • Moving map with direct to waypoint capability;
  • Access to free of charge, open source maps, downloadable from within the application;
  • Internal database with more than 100.000 waypoints, airports and related information;
  • Internal database with airspaces information (not all countries available);
  • Logbook (manual);
  • Navigation instruments (HSI, VOR, ADF).


Air Navigation Pro

Some of the features Air Navigation Pro offers are:

  • Moving map with multi leg flight planning or direct to waypoint capability;
  • Access to commercial aviation charts (as in-app purchases) for Europe, USA, Australia, New-Zealand (check our website for available countries);
  • Support for georeferenced approach charts (not all countries available, check our website for more information);
  • Access to free of charge, open source maps, downloadable from within the application;
  • Internal database with more than 100.000 waypoints, airports and related information;
  • Internal database with airspaces information (not all countries available);
  • Logbook (automatic);
  • Support for elevation data, see terrain in front of airplane or while planning legs;
  • Support for 3D data of Synthetic Vision;
  • Navigation instruments (HSI, CDI, ADF);
  • Online flight tracking service.
  • Support for the use of external gadgets (AHRS g mini, other manufacturers)


Air Navigation Desktop


Air Navigation Desktop is a complete flight-planning application with a varied use that will run under OS X. Among other uses, you will be able to plan your flights, print flight documents and synchronize routes with your mobile device.

Some of the features Air Navigation Desktop offers are:

  • Create routes,
  • Create your own Aircraft and Pilot profiles,
  • Calculate weight, balance and fuel consumption,
  • Set minimum safe altitudes for each leg,
  • Set wind speed and direction for each leg,
  • Retrieve wind forecast from our weather server,
  • Check weather,
  • Check for NOTAM,
  • Print your flight plan,
  • Download maps of various providers (Official, non-official, Free sources),
  • Explore a database of more than 160.000 waypoints worldwide, (including Airports, Helipads, Navaids, IFR waypoints, VFR waypoints),
  • Work with a database of interactive Airspaces for more than 70 countries,
  • Switch to the Synthetic Vision view (EFIS 3D module),
  • Sync your app with many other devices at the same time.
